Compositions

He is the author of more than 100 pieces for accordion, accordion trio and other ensembles, as well as songs and incidental music.

On a scholarship from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage he composed “Stabat Mater” for soprano, mixed choir and accordion trio in 2021.
World premiere: Tychy, 6 April 2025.
Performers: Motion Trio, Joanna Raszyńska – soprano, the Choir of the University of Economics in Katowice conducted by Michał Brożek.

In 2025, also on a Ministry of Culture and National Heritage scholarship, he composed a space suite for accordion orchestra, “The Accordionist and Xenophanes the Dog on Mars”.
World premiere: 18 April 2026, Accordeonorkest Kortenbalg conducted by Jef De Haes, Sint-Kamilluskapel, Bierbeek, Belgium.

Theatre music

He has written music for theatre productions, including:

  • Jerzy Jarocki – “Salomea's Silver Dream” (“Sen srebrny Salomei”),
  • Piotr Cieplak – “The Straw Hat” (“Słomkowy kapelusz”),
  • Rafał Kmita – “We All Came Out of One Overcoat” (“Wszyscyśmy z jednego szynela”) and “Songs from the Overcoat” (“Pieśni z Szynela”) – hundreds of performances, including at Teatr STU in Kraków,
  • Remigiusz Brzyk – “Oedipus Rex” after Sophocles.

Arrangements for the La Folle Journée festival

Commissioned by the La Folle Journée festival (Nantes, Tokyo, Warsaw, Yekaterinburg; seven editions between 2010 and 2024), he arranged for accordion trio – and performed with Motion Trio – more than 100 works by composers of various periods, including Frédéric Chopin, Johannes Brahms, Franz Liszt, Dmitri Shostakovich, Aram Khachaturian, Sergei Prokofiev, Modest Mussorgsky, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Camille Saint-Saëns, Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann and Jacques Offenbach.

Selected arrangements have been released on Motion Trio albums:
